More Art to Come...

I received a new brief for a live drawing challenge, where we had to sketch 10 different areas (coffee shop, street, home ect) but with our none drawing hand. I feel as thought it went fairly well, although I had to hold my pencil kinda like Voldermort holds his wand and my lines would always be short and wavy. I'll probably post the sketches soon, as I currently don't have a scanner, so I'll have to use the uni's.

I also went on a trip to Manchester yesterday to meet my mum who I haven't seen since I left for uni! I took some photographs of things I found interesting whilst walking around so I plan to sketch them at some point as well.

I'm still working on my first comic too. I've created another three characters, which I'm going to upload digital versions of, as well as a basic storyline. I still need to work out the kinks and maybe perfect the designs, but it's going well.

We've got a lecture on female superhero's tomorrow, about how they're underrated and mainly just sexualised characters, from their outfits, body dishes and at least half of the poses they're drawn in.

The dream diary comic is in for next Thursday, so I expect we'll get another brief either then or before that.
